I'm Max Lichter, a software engineer. By day I build enterprise software. On the side, I build websites for people who actually answer their own phones.

Most service businesses get two options: pay an agency $5,000 and talk to an account manager, or fight with a DIY builder that looks like one. I'm the third option, one person, one flat price, and you can text me directly. My first client is in Bozeman, Montana. We've never met. The site works great.

I also run a popup bakery, so I've stood at a booth pitching my own thing to strangers. Your website should do that pitching for you.
