I'm Max Lichter, a software engineer who builds websites for service businesses on the side. I kept seeing the same thing: hard-working people stuck choosing between a $5,000 agency and a DIY builder that looks like a DIY builder.

There's a middle. A clean, fast site that makes your business look as good as your work does, built by one person you can actually text, not routed through account managers. Distance isn't an issue either: Martin Property Care's site, for a business in Bozeman, Montana, was built entirely over text and email, and it works great.
